Born in Tochigi Prefecture in 1988
・Inspired by surfing, which he started as a teenager, he worked part-time for three years at a surf shop in Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture, starting at age 20. He spent almost every day in the ocean, living a life dedicated to surfing.
・After that, he moved to Tokyo and worked for an apparel company, involved in the operation of an eyewear brand. He gained experience in a wide range of fields, from planning and design to sales promotion, for approximately nine years.
・In November 2020, he became independent and established OWN LLC.
・In February 2021, he launched and is currently operating the PLAGLA brand.
"Besides picking up trash on the beach, is there something else I can do?"
Inspired by surfing, which I started as a teenager, I began participating in beach cleanup activities and became more aware of environmental and waste issues.
And gradually, the desire to "create something that can protect the natural environment, even just a little" grew stronger.
While pondering these thoughts and experimenting, I met people at factories who were creating products using wonderful recycling technology.
This led me to decide to leave the company I had worked for for many years and become independent.
In 2021, I launched "PLAGLA," a brand that combines my accumulated eyewear experience with recycling technology.
